A 30% increase in revenue can go a long way in your business. But for most entrepreneurs a 30% increase in any one area of your business is near impossible.
And anyone who tells you that you can increase your business income by 30% from ONE AREA is full of crap. Can it happen? Sure. Is it likely? Not even close.
However, you can easily increase your business income by 30% by focusing on getting a ten percent increase in these 3 areas.
First off, understand that there are many areas of your business that you can increase efficiency in…
…and as the leader of your company it’s massively important that you constantly look for areas in your business that you can increase efficiency in. This is one of the first thing I do with all of my Domination Year coaching clients.
Once we do that then we create new sources of leads and we focus on brand building so that they can become celebrities in their industry.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
So how do you add 30% more income to your business?
1.Increase sales conversions by just 10%. This means get a little better at selling your product or services by structuring a more reliable sales process. It means getting a little better at overcoming objections before they ever come up.
If you do phone sales or DM sales you can easily get better at this stuff by studying sales and learning how to preemptively overcome objections before they come up at the end of the sale. If you sell a product, service or course from your website you can do this by learning which elements on your site have the greatest influence on sales and making those adjustments.
2. Become 10% better at follow up. Truth is most business owners are horrible at follow up. You spend all this time and energy creating content and running ads to get leads, however you spend little to no time in making sure those leads become paying customers. There’s an old saying that is very true… the sale is made in the follow up. Unless you follow up like a monster and get that lead on the phone, you will NOT make the sale.
3. Raise your prices by 10%. If you’re 10% better at following up with leads. And if you’re 10% better at closing sales then the only thing left is to raise your prices by 10%. Trust me when I tell you that your customers are not going to stress out by you raising your prices by 10%. Plus, if you’re a better closer and you’re better at following up then the 10% increase in price will be insignificant to your customers.
So just by focusing on a 10% increase in these three areas (better sales process, a deliberate lead follow up system, and increase in price) you’ll add an additional 30% of income to your bottom line really quickly.
