3 THINGS BUSINESS OWNERS NEED TO DO MORE

Most business owners think that the only way to scale your business is through organic social media marketing  – things like content videos and posts that will drive leads and sales. 

That’s also why most businesses get stuck and rarely hit their growth profit potential. 

When you’re just focused on organic social media content as your main source of leads and sales, it’s like leaving the growth of your business up to chance. If the algorithm gods like your posts you may get leads, but if they don’t, then your business continues to struggle.

But there is a better way to scale your business, to drive more leads, to make more sales and to not have to lower your prices just to compete with the competition.

What I’m about to share with you will help you lower your cost of lead acquisition AND increase your sales conversions.

1) Differentiate your product or service from all others in your industry. What makes your product better, different, more effective? 

How can you offer a better risk reversal or guarantee?

I see way too many entrepreneurs doing incestual marketing – copying the marketing strategies, benefit bullets, and features of everyone else who they compete with.

Soon your product and everyone else’s looks the same and before you know the customer can’t tell which is better and why. This is a VERY bad thing because when your customers can’t tell you and your competitors apart then you become a commodity.

This then forces you to lower your prices below your competitors so that you can compete on the lower price scale… AND NO ONE WINS THE RACE TO THE BOTTOM.

2) Figure out paid ads. Organic social media is good. Word of mouth is fine. But all businesses grow faster and more predictably when you figure out paid traffic and scale it.

Look if you can spend a dollar on Meta and Google and make two dollars back wouldn’t you do that all day long? That’s how paid advertising scales!

3) Stack tons of testimonials, reviews and before after pictures. What you say about your business doesn’t matter as much as what other people say about your product or service. 

Your product site, social media, and store should be peppered with an overabundance of social proof – testimonials from actual clients and customers who love and have gotten results with your product or service.

This is the fastest and most effective way to build the trust factor with your future customers and to lower their skepticism in your product. And when you reduce skepticism and increase trust, you make a whole bunch of money.
