One day your kids are going to look back and figure out exactly who you were.
Not who you said you were.
Not who you tried to be.
Who you actually were.
Think about your own dad for a second.
You know exactly who he was. What he stood for. What mattered to him.
And whether you want to admit it or not, those memories shaped who you became.
Maybe he was your first hero—the man you measured yourself against.
Or maybe he was your first lesson in what NOT to become.
Either way, his impact runs deep.
I share this with you because…
The story you’re writing right now is the one they’ll tell for the rest of their lives.
Your kids are watching you the same way you did your father.
They see how you handle stress. How you treat their mother. How you show up when things get hard.
They’re not just watching what you do—they’re learning who to become.
The question is when they figure out who you really are, what story will they tell?
Will they talk about a father who was present, strong, and intentional?
OR will they talk about a man who was too busy, too distracted, or too weak to guide them into manhood?
Because here’s the reality:
You’re not just raising kids.
You’re raising future men who will either make the world better or make it worse.
And that outcome largely depends on who you choose to be right now.
Talk soon,
Bedros
