One of the biggest assets you can have in business is having a vision.
As a Visionary, you have the unfair advantage of seeing what others can’t and capitalizing on it.
But just having a vision doesn’t make you a Visionary. If that was the case, we’d all be making bank with our daydreams and shower time ideas.
Look at Elon Musk during production hell at Tesla.
He slept on the floor of the factory. Not in an office, not in some suite down the road. On the floor, next to the line, so his people knew he wasn’t asking them to do anything he wasn’t doing himself.
That’s how you set a standard. You don’t announce it, you live it in front of your team until it becomes the culture.
But here’s the problem with that approach…
…you only have one body.
You can’t sleep on the floor of every department. You can’t sit in on every sales call, every hire, and every customer complaint. Sooner or later your standard has to exist in rooms you’re not standing in.
I share this with you because what makes you a Visionary is being able to replicate yourself through your team.
Because we know how much we can do and generate on our own, now imagine having several of you focused on ONE mission.
This is how you get things done faster while expanding your reach past your city, beyond state lines, and across borders.
Now, replicating yourself doesn’t mean creating Mini-Me’s of yourself.
(Imagine if Elon did that. A bunch of mini Elons running around the factory floor arguing with each other on X lol.)
What you want to replicate are the character, values, and virtues that represent YOU.
Because skills can be taught. Anyone sharp enough can be trained on your systems, your process, and your software.
Character can’t. They either have it or they don’t.
So years ago I built my own cloning method for this. I call it my Oreo Cookie – the non-negotiable center of who I am and who I want around me.
Here’s what my Oreo Cookie looks like:
- Relentless
- Loving
- Kind
- Compassionate
- Caring
- Ruthless
Once I identified the types of people I wanted in my corner, I was able to find high performers much easier.
Why? Because they are aligned with my character, values, and virtues.
And since I know they’re aligned with these things, the rest takes care of itself. I can hand somebody a department and trust that the decision they make on a Saturday when I’m nowhere near my phone is the same decision I would’ve made.
With this little trick, I’ve replicated myself through each leader, team member, and department in my companies. And you can now do the same thing.
So that we can all move as a unit towards executing your vision.
Feel free to start creating your Oreo Cookie and see how your impact will go beyond your region, state, and country.
Be the visionary for your business and team.

P.S. Getting your vision out of your head and into a team that executes it without you is the hardest jump most entrepreneurs ever make.
That’s a big part of what we work on inside Scale Syndicate. 6 months, the exact blueprints I’ve used to build and scale my companies, and a room full of operators who are done being the bottleneck in their own business.
