I recently had the honor of speaking at Ferrahian High School, the first Armenian school in the US.
I have two price points when it comes to speaking: $50,000 or free.
This one was free.
And if I’m being honest – I felt like I should have paid them.
Because this was a priceless experience for me.
As an immigrant who came to this country with nothing and made something of himself…
…it was a full-circle moment for me to be able to tell these future leaders that they could do something great with their lives.
And seeing the hunger in the students’ eyes to go out into the real world and make positive change gave me so much hope for the future.
I share this with you because it reminded me of the importance of mentorship.
As adults, it is our responsibility to teach the younger generation and help them develop into leaders and servants in their communities.
Make no mistake friends, you have the power to have a profound impact on them – especially your kids.
After all, they are watching you, and they look up to you.
And based on your examples, your son will learn how to be a man and your daughter will learn how she should be treated.
So will you be the example and mentor that your child needs?
Or will you leave it up to chance?
The choice is yours.
Talk soon,
Bedros
