THE PROBLEM WITH UNDERCHARGING

Last week I had a Domination Year coaching client come to my HQ for his half-day coaching session with me. 

This was his first coaching session with me, so we had a lot of work to do in this meeting. 

He’s a successful addiction recovery coach, has a full roster of clients, but he’s working about 60 hours a week as a one man show. 

He’s a hard worker so he’s not allergic to grinding his ass off.

But he was making $13,000 a month with his coaching and was completely burned out.

Meanwhile, one of my Domination Year coaching clients in a similar industry is making $120K a month while personally working with half the clients. 

Similar expertise. Similar market. Completely different approach.

I share this with you because most coaches are sabotaging themselves without even realizing it…

Most coaches think the key to making more money is getting more clients.

They’re not wrong. But the answer is NOT to get more clients for yourself.

The answer is to build a small team and get more clients for them while you lead and manage your people – this is how you make more money AND have more time freedom. 

Let me explain…

When someone has a serious problem they need solved, they’re not looking for the cheapest option.

They want the best solution, period.

That’s exactly why premium clients don’t blink at premium prices. They’re not paying for your time–they’re paying to time collapse their transformation period. 

But most coaches are terrified to raise their prices because they think they’ll lose clients.

Even worse, most exerts and coaches think that they are the only ones who can deliver the results and serve the client, so they end up under charging and taking on as many clients as they can handle…

…until they burn out. 

So basically they stay trapped in trading time for dollars.  

Overworked and underpaid, serving too many clients with too little impact.

Here’s what they don’t understand:

Low prices attract low-quality clients who give you low-quality results. 

And those low-quality results keep you stuck charging low prices.

And it doesn’t allow you to hire a couple of team members who can deliver coaching for you so that you can run your business like a REAL business. 

It’s a vicious cycle that keeps talented coaches broke.

But there’s a better way.

When you position yourself as a premium solution, everything changes. 

Your clients take the work more seriously. They get better results. Those results attract more premium clients. 

Your income multiplies while your workload decreases.

Look, if you’re a coach you can either keep grinding away serving more clients for less money…

Or you can make the shift to premium pricing and finally get paid what you’re worth.

The choice is yours.
