There are two invisible currencies that every successful entrepreneur has earned.
You can’t earn them by clocking into a 9-5, playing the stock market, or even starting a run-of-the-mill business.
And once you earn them, you can’t buy a damn thing with them – but they’ll make you richer than you ever imagined.
Now, most people think getting rich is all about earning cold, hard cash.
But I’ve been in this game for decades.
I’ve built multiple 7-figure businesses and coached hundreds of entrepreneurs to do the same.
And I can tell you right now – money ain’t the highest form of currency out there.
In fact, there are two other forms of currency that are way more valuable than any amount of cash you can stuff in your wallet.
These two higher forms of currency are what make entrepreneurs truly rich REGARDLESS of the amount of zeros in their bank account.
Here’s what I mean…
When I started Fit Body Boot Camp, I didn’t have a fat bank account. Hell, there were months when my account was in the red.
But what I did have was a willingness to build these other two currencies.
These currencies took me from a broke personal trainer to scaling an international fitness franchise.
Here’s what they are:
- Network Currency
This is the highest form of currency you can generate.
A strong network can open doors, create opportunities, and skyrocket your success faster than any amount of money ever could.
Just look at guys like Bruce Cardenas and Ryan Tillman. They’ve built multi-million dollar businesses not because they started with loads of cash, but because they mastered the art of building and leveraging their networks.

- Time Currency
You can always make more money, but you can’t make more time.
When I was starting out, I worked 18+ hour days. However, I used those hours to build relationships, create systems, and lay the foundation for Fit Body Boot Camp. This allowed me to build Fit Body to where it ran on autopilot and I could remove myself to focus on bigger projects.
When you have time and use it wisely, you can plan, strategize, and execute – building relationships and creating killer products or services.
- Financial Currency
Last is money. Don’t get me wrong, you need money to operate and grow. But if you’ve got a strong network and you’re smart with your time, the money will follow.
I’ve seen it happen time and time again with my coaching clients. They come in focused on dollars and leave understanding the real currencies that matter.
I share this with you because if you’re only focused on just making money, you’re playing the short game. You might make a quick buck but miss out on the relationships and experiences that lead to lasting success.
When you prioritize building your network and managing your time, you’re setting yourself up for long-term, sustainable success.
