People look at my life today and think I’ve got it easy.
They see the businesses, the brands, the real estate investments, the life and the freedom and think that I somehow got lucky.
But what they don’t see is this:
Most mornings, I wake up in a dark place.
I don’t pop out of bed smiling.
I don’t throw on workout gear and blast affirmations.
I don’t wake up happy.
In fact, for most of my life I’ve had to fight for happiness.
I share this with you because the first thing I feel isn’t motivation when I open my eyes in the morning.
It’s responsibility. It’s the pressure to perform.
The responsibility of being a father, a husband, a leader, and a man who refuses to go back to who he used to be – broke and scared.
That darkness doesn’t disappear on its own. I have to fight it off EVERY morning.
And I fight it with my morning routine and through movement in the gym.
Through service to my family, my team, and the mission I’m building.
Through leading businesses and my clients with clarity.
That’s the thing no one tells you about success:
You don’t build it by chasing happiness.
You build it by chasing responsibility.
By doing the hard sh*t when you least feel like it. By becoming someone who can hold the weight of a bigger life without breaking.
I don’t wake up happy.
But I wake up committed.
I wake up disciplined…and I attack my day.
And through that commitment, happiness eventually shows up in the form of pride. Pride is getting things done, making money, serving the people who I love and care for.
Same thing with business.
You’re not always going to feel inspired.
You won’t always want to sell, lead, post, market, or speak.
But if you only operate when you feel like it, your life will always be controlled by your emotions. And as we both know, your emotions lie.
This is what we’re diving into at BK LIVE 2025.
Not just the tactics to grow your business—but the mental toughness it takes to keep showing up when the world (and your own mind) tries to drag you back down.
We’re going to teach you how to:
- Lead yourself before you lead others
- Own your mornings instead of surviving them
- Build emotional resilience that lasts beyond motivation
If you think happiness is the goal, you’ll stay chasing highs.
But if you build strength, structure, and standards…you’ll create peace.
And with peace, success becomes inevitable.

P.S. The strongest entrepreneurs I know don’t wake up smiling every day. They wake up ready to go to war with their excuses and win.
If you’re ready to do the same, lock in your spot at BK LIVE 2025.
