THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR KIDS

We all want our kids to thrive.

It’s instinctual.

And as they grow up from young cubs to adults life is going to test them.

It’s going to knock them down and not be very kind doing so.

When this happens the best thing you can do isn’t to cushion the fall.

It’s to teach them how to get back up, stronger and more resilient than before.

Because here’s the truth most parents don’t want to admit:

Protecting them from every hardship won’t help them…it’ll hurt them.

As parents, it’s in our DNA to protect our kids.

But shielding them from every bump in the road does more harm than good.

The best way to prepare them for the real world is to let them experience life’s hits—failures, setbacks, and all—and guide them as they grow stronger from it.

I share this with you because life isn’t fair and certainly doesn’t go easy on anyone.

When it knocks them down (and it will) you want to know your kids have the tools to stand back up.

That means stepping back and letting them face adversity head-on.

Take my son, Andrew, for example. He’s a teenager with big ideas and, like most teens, the occasional bonehead decision.

A while back, He borrowed money from me to invest in cryptocurrency. Long story short, it didn’t go well, and he lost it all.

I could’ve stepped in and said, “Don’t worry, I’ve got you.”

But what lesson would that teach him?

That Dad will always bail him out?

Life doesn’t work that way.

Instead, I let him feel the sting of that loss and work out a repayment plan with me.

It was tough to watch, but it was also the best thing for him.

Because now, he understands the value of money, the importance of research, and the sting of reckless decisions. Those are lessons he’ll carry for life.

Yes, it hurts to see your child struggle.

But it’ll hurt a hell of a lot more watching them grow up without the grit to handle real challenges.

And that grit is the greatest gift you can give them.

THE ENTREPRENEUR’S CHEAT CODE TO VALIDATING YOUR VISION

Someone recently asked me on a Legacy Tribe coaching call:

“How do you know if your business idea is worth pursuing?”

From experience I can tell you that question keeps countless entrepreneurs awake at night.

You’ve got a vision but the fear of pouring time, money, and effort into something that might flop is real.

I get it. I’ve been there.

The stakes feel high because they are.

But here’s the truth: the only difference between a successful entrepreneur and one who never gets their idea off the ground is having clarity and execution

And the only way to have both starts with one fundamental step:

Proving the market.

Let me share the exact framework I wish someone had given me when I was starting out.

The first thing I tell anyone wondering if their idea has a market is this…

Look for competition.

If someone else is already doing what you’re planning, that’s not a reason to back off. It’s a sign to double down.

Competition means demand.

It means people are already paying for solutions like the one you’re thinking of. Instead of seeing competition as a problem, view it as proof that your idea has potential.

They’ve validated the market for you.

But don’t stop there.

The next step is to identify the problem your idea solves and ask yourself two key questions:

  1. Is this a problem that a lot of people are experiencing?
  2. Are they motivated to fix it?

If the answer is yes, you’re already on solid ground. Now, it’s time to figure out what makes your solution stand out.

Maybe your product is faster, simpler, or more tailored to a specific audience.

Maybe your approach offers better customer service, a unique feature, or improved results.

Differentiation is where you carve out your lane in the market.

Your job isn’t to reinvent the wheel. It’s to make the wheel better.

To succeed, focus on understanding your audience better than your competitors.

Do the research. Talk to your potential customers. Find out what frustrates them about existing options and how you can deliver more value.

Then test your ideas, refine them, and execute with precision.

This is exactly how I’ve built every successful business in my portfolio.

When you understand your market better than they understand themselves, and you execute with precision – that’s when you become unstoppable.

The opportunity is right in front of you.

Now it’s time to show up and dominate.

Rooting for you,

Bedros Keuilian
