Building a Recession Proof Resilient Business

In the garden of entrepreneurship, I’ve developed a green thumb for quickly growing profitable businesses.

This is because I tend to grow companies that are more like garden weeds and less like pretty little orchids.

You see, the orchid is fragile.

If it gets too much sun or water, or if it’s too close to other plants – it dies.

And in order to hold its stem up it must be braced onto a stick with clips.

But the garden weed is a resilient little f#@ker.

It doesn’t need water or sunshine and will grow just about anywhere.

HELL IT DOESN’T EVEN NEED SOIL!

Some view them as a pesky nuisance, but I view them as opportunistic and resilient!

Finding any opportunity to grow because they have the ability to adapt to almost any difficult environment.

I share this with you because this is the mindset you need to develop when facing problems while growing your business…

…specially times like now when we’re heading into a massive recession.

Both YOU and YOUR business need to become more resilient.

A resilient mind and business that can grow in any environment will pass the test of time.

These are the 3 things I’ve used in business to develop resilience:

1) Be quick on the draw

Business moves fast and speed of implementation is key.

You need to be able to respond quickly to changing markets, customer needs, the economy and competitors. If you’re not decisive, you’ll never make it in times like this.

2) Bounce back from setbacks

Look, no business is immune to setbacks and failures.

But to succeed in the long run, you need to be able to recover quickly from these setbacks and keep moving forward.

This means being resilient, adaptable, and learning from your mistakes

This also means to not get paralysis by analysis by overthinking and over complicating.

3) Think differentiation of product or service

To stand out from the crowd, you need to offer something unique and compelling. You can’t be another “me too” business that just blends into the noise.

This requires creativity, innovation, and a willingness to try new things and make new and different offers. Don’t be afraid to take risks and experiment with new ideas.

Make no mistake, things will almost never go as planned – sh!t will go wrong.

And when you’re eventually met with economic turmoils, supply chain issues, or inflation…

…you can either fold and die like the orchid without its brace.

Or you can overcome like the weed, adapting and thriving anywhere there’s room.

The sooner you realize that problems are a part of life and should be embraced, the sooner you can begin to forge a resilient mind and business.

Here’s the secret to why my coaching clients and their businesses do so well…

I don’t just focus on their business or systems. I focus on the leader and making him or her more resilient, more decisive and a better “war time leader” because that’s the difference maker between winning and losing businesses.

3 things I’m using to build an audience (Steal this now)

Back in 2008, I uploaded my first YouTube video.

It was a 5-second video of my son and me going to a fire station. (Definitely not the type of content that was going to help grow the coaching business that I was running at the time.)

You see, in the beginning…

My YouTube channel and podcast existed as an afterthought in my business. It took me YEARS to see any sort of traction on my YouTube channel and podcast.

And it wasn’t up until a few years ago that I realized the INSANE advantages of using YouTube and podcasting to grow your personal brand and business.

But over the past 6 months, I’ve gone all in on YouTube and podcasting.

And I’ve finally cracked the code to growing my audience and building my personal brand even larger.

And the best part? Anyone can do this.

You see, It took me over 10 years to reach 100k subscribers on YouTube.

But it only took 6 months to get to 400k subs.

And in the next 6 months I’ll be at 1,000,000 subs.

Here are 3 things I’m doing to reach that goal (& how you can too):

  1. Purposeful Content

Don’t just make videos for the hell of it. Make sure your content is meaningful and valuable to your audience.

Creating content that matters will help you establish authority and attract a dedicated following.

Consider their problems or questions and provide helpful solutions or answers through your videos.

  1. Engage With Your Audience

Every time a new video is released on my channel you can find me in the comment section. Engaging with my audience has been a MASSIVE part of growing my channel and building my community.

From a marketing standpoint, it’s a great way to get feedback and suggestions from your audience and potential customers.

  1. Consistency

Listen, in the past, I’d go months on end without posting a single video or podcast episode. Consistency is key when it comes to building and growing a YouTube channel.

You gotta make sure you’re uploading videos on a regular schedule. Not only will it help your audience know when to expect new content from you, and it’ll put you in favor of YouTube’s algorithm.

Look, if you’re satisfied with where your current business and income are, that’s totally fine.

But if you’re looking to…

– Tap into a new marketing channel

– Build your personal brand

– And inspire people while making money

Then you’ll want to attend my one-day intensive YouTube Bootcamp on April 13, 2023.

My good friend Rafeh Qazi will be sharing his tactics on how he was able to get himself to 1,000,000 subscribers in a relatively short period of time. Qazi is the hidden genius that experts turn to when they want to build massive YouTube channels.

And you’ll be able to use his tried and tested tactics to help kickstart your channel and gain raving fans from day one.

You’ll then learn the systems and strategies I’m currently using to drive traffic to my personal brand while growing my channel and podcast.

With these strategies, you’ll be able to become the authority in your space. Helping you build your personal brand and giving you a competitive edge over your competition.

Whether you’re just starting out or have an established following, you’ll learn how to build a community of raving fans in any industry or niche who are eager to do business with you.

And I believe that there’s no better way to do business than by inspiring others, all while building a massively profitable business.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Bedros

Choose your hard

A few months ago, individuals from across the country participated in our first Misogi Challenge.

For 12 hours these bad-@sses push their limits and embrace adversity head-on like rams slamming into each other.

The Misogi Challenge is an event that challenges people to push their limits and embrace adversity.

There is something incredibly empowering about choosing to put yourself through adversity.

It’s a chance to test your limits and see what you’re truly capable of.

The Misogi Challenge reminded me of an important lesson that we all need to be reminded of from time to time:

Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But you can choose your hard.

If you want an easy life, you need to choose the hard road & push through the suck.

If you want a hard life, you can choose the easy road & quit at the first sign of hardship. But understand that those difficulties will inevitably catch up with you.

So choose wisely.

This lesson applies to all aspects of life, not just physical challenges like Misogi.

It’s about the decisions we make and the actions we take to achieve our goals.

And before I hear, “But Bedros you don’t understand my situation…”

Consider the fact we had kids take part in this challenge.

Proving that ANYONE can accomplish anything they put their mind to it.

Choosing the hard road may be more difficult in the short term, but in the long run, it will lead to a more fulfilling and rewarding life.

In case you missed the last one, join me on April 15th for the next Misogi Challenge.

Click here to learn more and sign up.

I can’t wait to see you there.

Talk soon,

Bedros

P.S. Don’t be afraid to push yourself out of your comfort zone and embrace adversity. Through these experiences, we grow and learn the most about ourselves.

3 Money-Making Levers You Must Be In Control Of

There’s a narrative out there that being a control freak is evil.

But every high performer you follow, or want to be like…

…is a control freak of their time, business, and life.

So if you’re a control freak in those areas does that mean you’re a bad person too?

F*@k no!

It just means you’re ready to take control of your life, income, and impact.

Now with that said, being a control freak of the WRONG things is where you can mess yourself up and drag others down. (A lesson for another time)

But today I’m gonna share the 3 money-making levers you must be in control of:

1) Learn To Think For Yourself

So many people listen to the headlines today and allow outside factors to dictate how they think.

Whether it’s me, the Biden, or Elon Musk…

You need to block out the outside voices and listen to your inner voice. So you can make decisions that put your agenda first, and not someone else’s.

2) Take Responsibility Of Your Health

Don’t put your health in jeopardy listening to “woke” idiots who think obesity is the new skinny.

Instead learn how to eat right, get jacked, and make your mindset unf@ckwithable.

And if you need help with this check out Battle Ready Fit. It’s the only training program I trust and personally use to stay in peak shape.

3) Win Your Freedom

You do this by making a ton of money – It’s that plain and simple.

They say your freedom is priceless, but from someone who’s financially free, let me tell you there is a price.

And you get to set it.

If you don’t know where to start when it comes to achieving financial freedom then check this out.

Listen, I share this with you because being a control freak of these 3 things will have you in the driver’s seat of how much you make, and the impact you’ll have.

Being in control, allows you to transform your life.

And if you can transform your future, you can do the same for others.

This is why I believe we can transform this nation’s future together.

What Most Entrepreneurs Are Missing

Everyone has imagined themselves being MEGA successful.

And proving all their naysayers wrong with their 7-figure bank account, and wearing their high-end watches while driving off in their dream car.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to do this in my lifetime.

Now if I’m being honest, I thought having all of these things would fill up the hole I had inside of me but I still felt empty inside.

This is one of the hidden truths of success many people don’t know about until they experience it.

It took me nearly a decade to become successful and less than a few years to almost lose it all.

Look, I’m all for making a lot of money because of what you can do with it.

But I wish someone told me this about success early in my entrepreneurial journey.

I tell you this because this is something I only share with my $100,000/year coaching clients.

And I help them realize the emptiness they feel won’t go away with 6, 7, or 8-figures in the bank by asking them:

If your current business ran on autopilot and generated its current level of income.

What would you do?

Their answer is always to focus on a business that creates more impact.

Focusing more on impact, helped me go from being a personal trainer to creating an international fitness franchise brand, Fit Body Boot Camp.

Since then, I’ve never stopped following this roadmap and it’s made me happy as fu@k!

This is how I created the Squire Program (a 15-hour father-and-son bonding experience).

The Modern Day Knight Project (the secret weapon men use to rise up as a leader in business and life).

And my Domination Year coaching program, helping entrepreneurs quickly scale their businesses.

Now here’s another thing about focusing on impact instead of income:

Your impact makes your income limitless.

Listen, if you wanna keep chasing income, be my guest. But it’s not fulfilling unless you have an impact goal attached to it!

You’re your own boss.

But just know, when you get to your mountain top, you’ll eventually focus on making an impact using your gifts…

…so start now!

Never peak,

Bedros Keuilian

Commit to waging war with yourself

The Modern Day Knight (MDK) Project officially wrapped up on Friday.

Class 016 was secured.

The Chino Hills weather gods blessed us all last week with rain, hail, and high winds.

Making this MDK Project Class one of the wettest, muddiest, and coldest classes to date.

34 men started.

13 men graduated.

Most of the men quitting within the first 24 hours.

All of the men who started said they wanted to change and transform.

But only 13 men were actually committed to waging war with themselves, pushing past their limits, and doing the deep work to uncover the experiences and traumas that were holding them back.

Transforming into better men, leaders, husbands, and fathers.

At some point, every man is going to fight a major inner battle in his life – sometimes several.

And if the inner battle continues to be unaddressed, it begins to wage war in every area of your life.

But if you’re committed to winning the war within and focusing on self-mastery…

…you will be equipped to face any external battle that comes your way.

Class 016 was an bad@ss group of savages who showed up and did the work.

These men not only transformed their own lives but are now positively impacting the lives of those around them.

The MDK Project isn’t for everyone.

Not everyone will make it past the 75 hours.

But those who do will have discovered an inner greatness – their highest self.

Do this if you constantly overanalyze

I recently had a half-day coaching session with a client, we’ll call him James.

James has struggled to break past the 6-figure mark in his business for the past two years.

During my half-day coaching sessions, I always ask a series of questions to help unveil the real issues in your business.

I realized he was overanalyzing every decision he made.

He was decisive with his time, actions, and decisions and it was causing his business to plateau.

Well I don’t want to get into the specifics of what was going on in his business.

I was able to help James get out of his head and build a plan for how he’s going to take his business from 6 figures to 7 figures.

But it got me thinking about the importance of being decisive.

Look, as entrepreneurs, we are faced with countless decisions every day.

Some of these decisions can be business-altering decisions that have the potential to bankrupt your business.

It’s easy to become overwhelmed and feel like you’re not in control.

I’ve been there in my early days of building Fit Body Boot Camp.

But the truth is, you are in control

You just need to learn how to be decisive.

Being decisive means being confident in our decisions and taking action – even if we’re not 100% sure of the outcome.

It means being mindful of our time and how we spend it. Focused on the task at hand and blocking out distractions.

And it means being proactive instead of reactive.

Simply put, don’t let your small fires turn into raging infernos.

As you head into this week focus on being decisive with your decisions.

Lean into your fear. Don’t be afraid to take risks and make mistakes. That’s an opportunity for growth and learning.

Focus on what you can control. We can’t control everything, but we can control our actions and decisions. So, focus on what you can manage and make the most of it.

And remember imperfect action trumps a perfect plan. Stop procrastinating, researching, and forever planning, and just start doing the damn thing!

I Have Good News And Bad News For You

The other day I got a message from someone thanking me for the content I’ve been putting out recently.

The reality is I should be thanking YOU for the kick@ss support and feedback I’ve been receiving on my YouTube channel recently.

But something stood out to me that I need to address.

He said he wanted to be like me.

Look, I don’t care if it’s me, Elon Musk, or the President of the United States.

Don’t strive to be like anyone – especially this current president.

We aren’t your hero.

Your guru.

Or your knight in shining armor.

I share this with you because I’m just an average dude with an above-average work ethic that is unwilling to quit.

And even though one of them listed above is a genius and the other…well might not have a properly functioning brain…

…you should never place them or me on a pedestal.

So then, here’s the bad newsno one is coming to save you.

I hate to break it to you but placing people on a pedestal because you think they have all the answers isn’t going to fix your life.

And I’m here to tell you it shouldn’t be them on that pedestal, it should be you.

You see, this pedestal has your name on it because it is the pedestal of your life.

You alone are responsible for your life.

You will never be able to be me just like I will never be able to be you.

That’s what makes us all unique.

And that’s the good news…

you have your own unique path to forge!

So rather than trying to emulate someone you’re not, start emulating what the 2.0 version of yourself would look like.

And realize that the only person that can save you is yourself.

That the true power for change lies within you.

And that hero on your pedestal of life should always be you.

Talk soon,

Bedros

P.S. If you’re ready to become the hero in your own story then join me at the next MDK Project Class.

We have some huge things planned for the Project that I can’t wait to share.

Your Business Needs A Check-Up

I recently had over 40 bad@ss entrepreneurs join me at the Business & Money Mastery Mastermind.

For two days Tony Stephan and I poured into these individuals and discussed how to scale their businesses so they can grow their wealth for generations to come.

Helping everyone who attended with their sales, hiring, leadership, growth, investment strategies, and more.

We even helped one of our attendees dramatically lower his business taxes (LEGALLY).

Like top surgeons, we diligently dove into each individual’s business.

Dissecting their pain points.

Fixing their bottlenecks.

And prescribing them an action plan for the next 12 months.

So that they can not only recover but scale their business during this recession.

Regardless of what the media and government are saying – we’re in a recession.

I’m sure you’ve noticed the price of gas and electricity (can’t forget about the eggs) have gone up.

If nothing changes, which nothing will, we’ll be in depression territory very soon.

Just look at anyone’s crypto wallet or investment accounts over the past year and you’ll start seeing the writing on the wall.

Imagine where we’ll be in another year from now…

I share this with you because the territory we’re heading into calls for you to make sure you have a healthy and thriving business.

And you can do that by doing a check-up on these 3 things:

  1.  Make sure you have all of your systems and processes in place.
  2. Your team members understand and are aligned with your mission and vision.
  3. Have a game plan for the next 12 months.

To the unprepared, times might seem scary.

But to the prepared, it’s an exciting time.

Because here’s the thing, during times of recession and depression:

The greatest transfer of wealth happens during this period.

And 9 times out of 10 the companies that can survive will thrive.

I experienced this back in ‘08 and I’m preparing for my companies to thrive again.

And I’d love to help you do the same by giving you the prescription to take your business from 6 to 7 figures a month and beyond.

In case you missed this past one, we’re hosting another on May 12th-13th, 2023 at my headquarters in Chino Hills, CA.

Click here to get more details.

I can’t wait to help you thrive.

High As A Kite

We’re in February now and I have to know if you’re still chasing that high from the New Year.

And I’m not talking about hitting a joint.

I’m talking about the “New Year New Me” high that everyone gets at the beginning of every year.

Making lofty goals and saying how it’s going to be “their year”.

But as you know, getting high is always temporary.

That’s why 80% of people quit their New Year resolutions within the first 30 days.

And why only 10% of people follow through with them.

You see, everyone fails to realize one key thing…

You can’t use temporary feelings to achieve permanent results.

And, if you need or are waiting for a ‘hit’ of motivation to get anything done…

…well my friend, you’ll always be playing a losing game.

Whether you made New Year’s resolutions or not.

It’s up to you to decide how the next 10 months will go.

Are you the person who never starts because you’re waiting for a ‘hit’ of motivation?

Maybe you’re the 90% of people who constantly chase the ‘New Year New Me’ high?

Or are you part of the 10% who actually follow through?

And if you are, I want to challenge you to not settle for just the 10%, become the 1%.

Make no mistake, following through is a great accomplishment…

…but you will never have an above-average life with an average level of action.

I share this with you because following through should be your standard.

Become a man who doesn’t wait for a ‘hit’ of motivation to start.

Who doesn’t need the “New Year New Me” high to set goals.

Who follows through and attacks EVERY day like it’s January 1st.

Become part of the top 1%.

To your success,

Bedros
