The six leadership pillars worth knowing

Most people think success as a leader comes down to talent, connections, or luck.

It’s normal when you’re just starting out to feel overwhelmed, unsure, and like you’re missing some secret ingredient.

I’ve realized that you can have anything in life if you master six fundamental pillars.

In fact the strongest leaders I’ve met…

Whether they manage multi-million-dollar companies, coach winning sports teams, or lead a busy family…

The all share the same core six pillars that keep them performing at their highest level.

These pillars changed everything about how I approach business, leadership, and life…

And if you can nail these pillars, everything changes.

Your confidence, your decision-making, and your ability to lead and influence others.

I documented all of them in my book “Man Up” because I wanted to give others the blueprint I wish I had when starting out.

I call these the Six Pillars of Leadership.

Master them, and you’ll thrive in any environment. Neglect them, and you’re going to struggle every single day.

Simple as that.

HERE ARE THE SIX PILLARS EVERY LEADER NEEDS TO MASTER:

  1. Master Self-Discipline

Real self-discipline is about doing what needs to be done, even when you’d rather do something else. It’s holding yourself accountable and demanding more from yourself than anyone else ever could.

  1. Communicate with Clarity and Impact

Crucial deals fall apart and relationships crumble because of poor communication. When you nail communication, you eliminate 90% of life’s chaos.

  1. Decide and Move Forward

Hesitation is the silent killer of momentum. Leaders make decisions swiftly and course-correct if needed. Overthinking can cost you opportunities, money, and respect.

  1. Build Emotional Resilience

Life will test you. Business will knock you down. Emotional resilience is the armor that keeps you moving forward when everything else is trying to drag you back.

  1. Gain Crystal-Clear Vision

You can’t lead if you have no idea where you’re going. Establish your vision, map out the path, and then march toward that destination with tunnel vision. When you see the finish line with clarity, nothing can derail you.

  1. Construct High-Performance Teams

No one succeeds alone. You need a powerhouse team that supports your mission. The leader’s job is to attract, develop, and elevate the right people. When your team is dialed in, you become unstoppable.

If you want a deep dive into these pillars, and how to apply them in real life, check out my book, “Man Up.”

Not only will you get a proven blueprint for leadership, but every penny goes directly to Shriners Children’s Hospital.

That means you’ll transform your life while helping kids who truly need it.

THE HARD TRUTH ABOUT MENTAL TOUGHNESS

I’m a firm believer that in order to elevate in life we must continually put ourselves in uncomfortable situations.

Voluntary adversity.

Doing something tough, new, and challenging doesn’t just push us beyond our comfort zone – it makes us more capable in dealing with life’s hardships and adversities when they come up.

That’s exactly why back in 2010, I did something most people thought was crazy.

Even though I’m 6 foot and 230 pounds I decided to train for and run a full marathon in just six weeks.

Keep in mind – I had never run more than half a mile at the time, hated running with a passion, and was just a meathead who lifted weights.

I share this with you because most people are trying to build mental toughness the wrong way…

When I hired a running coach and told her I wanted to run a marathon in six weeks, she looked at me like I was insane.

But something inside me knew this wasn’t just about running. This was about breaking through my own limitations and the false beliefs systems I had.

Those six weeks changed everything.

Not just because I finished the marathon.

But because it taught me something crucial about mental toughness and resilience.

You can’t build it by reading books.

You can’t develop it by watching motivational videos.

You can’t fake it with social media posts.

You build mental toughness by doing the ONE THING that scares you most.

Since that first challenge, I’ve done 2-4 challenges every year that put me out of my comfort zone.

Each one makes me more resilient, more resourceful, and more confident. And that translates into a better life, making more money and being happier with where I am in life.

It’s shaped me into a better leader.

It’s why I created the 26.2 Marathon Challenge.

There’s something very powerful that takes place within you when you sign up for a marathon, train for six weeks and then run and complete the damn thing!

Six weeks is just long enough to keep you in a state of suffering, adversity and to prove to yourself that you can do something hard if you commit to it.

Adversity always introduces a man to his highest self.

Because that’s what mental toughness is really about – following through when most people would quit.

Want to know the craziest part?

This kind of transformation is available to anyone willing to push past their comfort zone.

You don’t have to be special.

You don’t have to be gifted.

You just have to be willing to do what others won’t.

If you’re looking to push yourself in 2025 then take the 26.2 Challenge. I created the entire training program along with the recovery and nutrition program for you so there’s nothing for you to figure out.

It’s completely free – with literally no catch other than the promise of you seeing it through and leveling up to the better version of you.

THIS IS WHAT MAKES LA STRONG

I’ve seen Los Angeles face some of the toughest challenges imaginable.

Earthquakes, riots, wildfires, floods, a pandemic. You name it.

But no matter how hard the hit, this city always bounces back.

We’re more than just a collection of neighborhoods. We’re a family.

And right now, our family needs us again.

Wildfires are tearing through our communities with devastating force…

Families are being displaced from their homes. Firefighters are working around the clock to protect lives and property.

It’s a moment that calls for action, and I know we’re up for it.

That’s why Few Will Hunt and I created the LA Strong Tee.

100% of the profits from these tees will be donated to the California Fire Foundation. This isn’t just talk.

These funds go directly to providing first aid kits, bottled water, hygiene products, and infant care items to those who need them most.

When you buy a tee, you’re making an immediate, tangible impact.

Can’t grab a tee right now? No problem. Sharing this message is just as powerful.

Every share spreads the word, inspires others to step up, and amplifies the help we can give.

I know what this city is capable of. We’ve faced the fire, literally and figuratively, time and time again.

And every time, we’ve come out stronger, more united, and ready for the next challenge.

Grab your LA Strong tee here.

Together, we’ll rebuild, recover, and rise.

THE 3 THINGS YOU NEED TO SCALE YOUR BUSINESS

Every day I get DM’s from entrepreneurs who are working their ass off but barely moving the needle in their business.

They’re trying everything – running ads, posting on social, networking their hearts out.

But their business isn’t growing any faster.

The thing is the ones who actually killing it in business aren’t doing more…

They’ve just learned to focus on three simple things.

I share this with you because when I install these three things into my coaching clients businesses everything changes for them…

Now before we dive in understand this:

Real growth doesn’t come from tricks or shortcuts.

It comes from doing three things better than everyone else in your space, over a long period of time:

  1. Your Personal Brand Is Your Unfair Advantage

Build a brand that makes people trust you before they even meet you.

Most entrepreneurs think personal branding means posting motivational quotes and flexing on social media. That’s why they stay invisible.

Real personal branding is when you become the go-to authority who delivers so much value that people can’t help but pay attention.

When you build a brand that’s authentically you, you don’t have to chase customers. They chase you.

  1. Your Offer Should Make Competitors Nervous

Create an offer that solves real problems. I see too many businesses copying their competition’s offers, then wondering why they’re stuck competing on price.

Your offer needs to be so good, so complete, that when people see it, they think “This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.”

When you nail this, price becomes irrelevant. Because you’re not selling a service – you’re selling an answer to their problem.

  1. Your Sales Process Should Feel Like A Conversation

Stop building complicated funnels and using manipulative tactics. The best sales process delivers real value, builds genuine relationships, and focuses on solving problems.

When you actually care about your customers’ success, selling becomes natural.

Because you’re not selling – you’re helping. Build a sales process that creates lifelong customers, not just transactions.

These three things aren’t sexy. But when installed in your business they’re damn effective.

Working together like well-oiled cogs in a machine to help you attract the right people, convert them, and turn them into lifelong customers.

Look, you could figure out how to install any one of these into your business through years of trial and error.

In fact, most entrepreneurs do.

But why waste time and money learning the hard way?

That’s exactly why I created the Legacy Tribe – to show entrepreneurs like you how to master these fundamentals faster, smarter, and with less headache.

>> Here’s how we’ll install it into your business.

Building something meaningful is tough enough. You shouldn’t have to do it alone.

MOST PEOPLE WILL NEVER GET WHAT THEY WANT (HERE’S HOW YOU WILL)

Everyone loves to talk about big dreams and goals for this year.

You’ll probably see all the motivational quotes and videos if you check your Instagram right now.

Everyone telling you about what they’re “going to” do.

  • Making seven figures.
  • Having time freedom.
  • Getting in the best shape of their life.
  • Building that dream relationship.

But one year from now, most of them will be in the exact same spot.

  • Working the same job.
  • Living in the same house.
  • Same weight (or heavier).
  • Dealing with the same problems.

Wondering why their crystal-clear vision hasn’t translated into real-world results.

It’s not because they don’t want it bad enough.

You see…

I’ve played the game long enough to know this harsh truth about why most people stay exactly where they are…

The thing you need to understand about achieving your vision is this:

Everyone can have a vision of where they want to be.

But a vision without aligned action is just daydreaming.

Your vision for who you want to be one year from now is built through the daily small decisions you can make today.

Want more money? Show me your money-making activities from yesterday.

Want time freedom? Show me your calendar from last week.

Want better relationships? Show me your daily investment in them.

Achieving what you want in life isn’t complicated…

It just requires BRUTAL honesty about the gap between what you say you want and what you’re actually doing about it.

Most people say they want to build an empire but spend their mornings scrolling social media.

They claim they want financial freedom but won’t invest in learning the skills to get there.

They talk about building something meaningful but waste their best hours on $10/hour tasks.

Your daily actions are either supporting your vision or they’re sabotaging it.

There’s no middle ground.

Because success isn’t built in some magical moment of breakthrough or another new year.

It’s built in those small daily decisions you make. Those small decisions compound over time into massive change.

And the truth is…

Your vision of who you want to become is already inside you.

The foundation for everything you want in life is available right now.

Now all you have to do is be willing to be brutally honest with that man in the mirror and back it up with an INSANE amount of aligned action.

And if you need some help, here’s how we can turn your big dreams into an even bigger reality.

I believe in you.

THE 3 BIGGEST MISTAKES FATHERS MAKE

After running dozens of Squire classes, I’ve watched hundreds of fathers and sons work through their relationships.

And you know what’s interesting?

I keep seeing the same mistakes pop up over and over.

Hell, I made these exact same mistakes with my own son.

But here’s what’s crazy…

Most (if not all) fathers don’t even realize they’re making them.

I share this with you because these mistakes aren’t just hurting your relationship with your son…they’re shaping the kind of man he’ll become.

Mistake #1: We’re Too Damn Quick To Fix Everything

Every time our sons face a challenge, we jump in with solutions.

We think we’re helping, but what we’re really doing is teaching them they can’t handle problems on their own.

We’re raising sons who’ll always look for someone else to bail them out.

Mistake #2: We’re Trying To Be Their Friend Instead Of Their Father

Look, I get it. We want our sons to like us.

But they don’t need another buddy.

They need a leader.

A mentor.

A father.

Someone who’ll hold them to higher standards.

When we try to be the “cool dad,” we rob them of the guidance they really need.

Mistake #3: We’re Not Showing Them Our Struggles

We hide our battles, thinking it makes us look strong.

But all we’re doing is teaching them that real men don’t face challenges.

They grow up thinking they’re the only ones struggling, that something’s wrong with them when things get hard.

When fathers understand these mistakes, everything changes.

I’ve seen these mistakes play out HUNDREDS of times at our Squire classes

But I’ve also seen something amazing:

For a full day from sunrise to sundown, each father-son duo creates one of the most memorable experiences you could have.

Each father and son shared laughs, cries, and hard conversations.

But by the end of it…

…both father and son understand what it means to be a protector and a provider.

Most importantly, they left with a bond stronger than ever.

It’s an experience they’ll never forget, and one they’ll talk about for years.

If you want to make sure you’re not making these mistakes with your son then join us at the next Squire class.

THE MILLION-DOLLAR LESSON I LEARNED FROM A BIG MAC

Growing up in America as an immigrant from a communist country McDonald’s might as well have been a 5-star restaurant to me.

I remember how excited I would get when my family would pull up to those golden arches.

At the time those golden arches represented everything great about America.

And I still remember the first time I bit into a Big Mac, that ‘secret sauce’ was like tasting freedom for the first time.

Now I don’t eat there anymore.

But I recently got to thinking about why McDonald’s is still so damn successful after all these years.

Then it dawned on me that Fit Body Boot Camp and McDonald’s aren’t that much different.

We’ve mastered something that most business owners NEVER figure out.

This one changed everything about how I built Fit Body Boot Camp…

And if implemented correctly in your business, it can take you from your average mom-and-pop shop to the industry giant.

McDonald’s isn’t successful because their food is amazing.

Hell, it’s barely even food.

But they’re successful because they’ve mastered one thing: Consistency

Every time you walk into those golden arches – whether you’re in California or Connecticut – you know exactly what you’re getting.

A mediocre burger that tastes the same and an experience that is identical everywhere.

And that’s exactly what I ‘stole’ from them when building Fit Body Boot Camp.

But here’s where we made it better:

Instead of consistent mediocrity, we deliver consistent excellence.

When someone walks into any Fit Body location, they know they’re getting:

The same high-intensity 30-minute workout

The same level of expert coaching

The same proven path to results

We took McDonald’s playbook and flipped it on its head.

McDonald’s bets on consistent mediocrity.

We bet on consistent excellence.

While they’re serving up the same processed food in every location, we’re delivering the same life-changing results in every location.

Guess which one sleeps better at night?

Here’s how you can apply this to your business:

  1. Make Consistency Non-Negotiable

Your product or service needs to deliver the same quality every single time. That’s how you build trust and create loyal customers.

  1. Build Systems That Scale

Take the time to create processes that guarantee this consistency. Document everything. Test everything. Perfect everything.

  1. Focus on the Customer Experience

Every touchpoint matters. From the moment they walk in to the moment they leave, make sure their experience is consistently excellent.

So there you have it…the real ‘secret sauce’ of business success.

Build something so reliable and so proven that people can bet their lives on it.

THIS IS THE ONE THING I’LL NEVER BE PROUD OF AS A DAD

I’ve got a lot to be proud of as a father.

Breaking generational cycles.

Creating a better life for my kids.

Being there when they need me.

I’m sure you can think of a few things you’re proud of as well.

But there’s one thing I’ll never be proud of – and I know every parent reading this has been there.

Something that haunts us long after our kids go to bed.

And it can make us question if we’re cut out for this whole parenting thing.

It’s whenever we lose our temper with our kids.

Let’s be real for a second.

None of us feel good after we lose our cool with our kids.

We never have and never will.

Whether it’s raising our voice out of frustration, making unreasonable demands, or issuing empty threats – it never accomplishes what we wanted.

All it does is plant seeds of anger that grow into the next generation.

I know this because I lived it.

My parents used to lose their cool and yell out of anger. And guess what? I caught myself doing the exact same thing with my kids.

That’s how the cycle continues.

I share this with you because your son isn’t just learning how to handle his emotions – he’s learning from how YOU handle yours.

Every time you lose your temper, you’re teaching him that’s how men handle stress.

Every time you react out of anger, you’re showing him that’s how men solve problems.

After the dust settles and the wounds are licked, the memory remains. Just like the pain after being abused.

That’s exactly why emotional discipline is such a crucial part of The Squire Program.

Because breaking these cycles isn’t just about being a better dad.

It’s about raising sons who become emotionally disciplined men.

Men who can lead with confidence instead of react from anger.

Men who can handle stress without losing control.

Men who break cycles instead of repeating them.

WHY GREAT COACHES STAY BROKE

Most coaches struggle because they’re focused on the wrong things.

Pursuing quick wins.

Trying to be everything to everyone.

They’re busy chasing social media followers.

Meanwhile, their bank account doesn’t match their talent or expertise.

There’s something messed up about that.

But after years of coaching and building multiple 8&9-figure businesses, I finally figured out why this happens…

Most coaches think getting results for clients is enough.

It’s not.

Being great at what you do is just the starting point.

Look, I’ve coached hundreds of entrepreneurs, and here’s what separates the ones who stay broke from the ones who scale:

Broke coaches think like technicians.

Successful coaches think like CEOs.

The technician spends all day IN their business – coaching calls, program delivery, client work.

The CEO steps back to work ON their business.

They know when to hire a sales team.

When to bring in operations people.

When to get the hell out of their own way.

Right now you’re probably doing everything yourself.

Sales calls? That’s you.

Client support? You again.

Marketing? Still you.

Operations? All you.

And it’s killing your business.

Because here’s what most coaches miss:

The skills that made you a great coach are completely different from the skills you need to build a great coaching business.

You can be the best coach in the world, but if you don’t know how to build systems, lead a team, and scale your operation – you’ll stay broke.

That’s why when you get coach in my Domination Year, I don’t just teach coaching skills.

One of my Domination Year clients recently made $75,000 in just one day! You may have seen me post the text message he sent me in my IG stories.

These results aren’t a fluke.

I’ve spent over a decade helping high performers from various industries to build and scale their businesses.

I show you how to think and act like a CEO.

Because success leaves clues.

When you’re ready to take that leap and transform your business…

I’m here to help.

Talk soon,

Bedros Keuilian

P.S. What got you here won’t get you there. That’s why athletes have coaches. You and I need them too.

YOUR SON IS LEARNING WHAT A MAN IS FROM YOU

As men, we’re hardwired to be the protector and provider of our families.

The moment my wife and I found out we were expecting our first child, something primal kicked in.

I knew I would stop at nothing to give my son the best life possible…even if it meant working myself into an early grave.

But here’s what most fathers completely miss…

When I talk to dads at the Squire program, they often tell me, “I would die for my son.”

And while I respect that – it’s also dangerous thinking.

Because the moment you decide to die for your child, parts of you start dying:

Your dreams take a backseat

Your self-improvement stops

Your health begins to fade

I share this with you because your son sees everything, even the things you think go unnoticed.

He’s paying attention to how you speak to the waitress when your order is wrong. He notices if you actually keep your word and follow through. He watches whether you face problems head-on or try to avoid them entirely.

He’s learning about money management by watching how you handle your finances. Developing his views on relationships by observing yours.

Building his work ethic by witnessing yours in action every day.

He’s actively creating his blueprint of manhood based on yours.

That’s why instead of dying for our kids, we need to LIVE for them:

Live as someone with values and character.

As an example of what it means to be strong.

As the man we want them to become.

The greatest gift we can give our sons isn’t our sacrifice – it’s our example.

The man your son becomes won’t be based on the lectures you give him during car rides or the advice you share over dinner. It will be founded on the actual life you show him through your daily actions.

The question isn’t whether he’s learning from you – he absolutely is.

The real question is:

What exactly is he learning?

Talk soon,

Bedros Keuilian

P.S. Remember, the greatest legacy we can leave our children is not our possessions, but the example of our lives.
