Have you ever wondered why your business can’t break through its glass ceiling?
Today, I’m going to share something very important with you about this glass ceiling and how to shatter through it.
What I’m about to show you is often overlooked, yet it’s how I grew Fit Body Boot Camp so quickly.
The glass ceiling is also known as the upper limit. As most people start to see success they tend to hit their upper limits and then slide back down to their comfort zone.
This mainly has to do with your old identity not allowing you to break through and enjoy a higher level of success and income.
Sadly, most think that to break the glass ceiling they need better marketing, sales, systems, ect…
While those hard skills are necessary for a business to thrive…
…the real key to success comes from the soft skills.
Hard Skills are like marketing, sales, funnels, standard operating procedures, etc.
Don’t get me wrong, hard skills are important. Yet, they’re capped by the level of the leader’s personal growth.
It doesn’t matter how much of a master you are at hard skills. You’ll hit a glass ceiling with them.
And when you hit that ceiling, you’ll find yourself falling back.
To break past this, you need Soft Skills.
Here’s the special thing about Soft Skills, you can’t hire someone to do them for you. You can only develop them.
As a child they’re taught to you by your parents, grandparents, and even your teachers.
Now as an adult it’s something that you have to develop yourself if you want to become a better leader and break through your upper limits.
Here are 3 main soft skills you must develop to break through the glass ceiling you have in your business:
Soft Skill #1: Money Relationship
Your relationship with money is vital if you want to build an empire that makes a significant impact.
If you don’t have a great relationship, understand this: money is a vehicle for freedom. Money is a vehicle to impact. And it does not discriminate.
Money goes to those who work hard and solve problems. And it’s repelled by laziness and to those who are allergic to hard work.
Money also solves the problem of not having money. And that’s a really good problem to have solved. So if you’ve got a poor relationship with money… fix it!
Soft Skill #2: Emotional Discipline
There’s no room for emotional distress in a business. In business, you can’t afford to be emotionally reactive towards things. Because 9 out of 10 times, you’ll look like a fool and you’ll lose the respect of those you lead and do business with.
Instead, you must be emotionally responsive when things go wrong. There’s a big difference between REACTING to an issue and RESPONDING to one.
You’re a leader, so respond effectively. People rely on you to lead and not act like a toddler when something doesn’t go your way.
Soft Skill #3: Develop Confidence
Confidence is a by-product of credibility and winning. By winning, I don’t mean making millies. Those will come over time.
I’m talking about saying if you’re going to wake up at 5 am, you wake up at 5 am without hitting snooze.
I’m talking about getting that workout in if you said you’d get it in first thing in the morning.
I’m talking about keeping the small promises to yourself and to others. That’s how you stack wins gangsta!
These 3 Soft Skills will give you the “edge” and help you break through your upper limits.
How? Because Soft Skills magnify your Hard Skills.
Which then makes it easier to blow past any new glass ceiling your business, income, and impact will have.
To your success,
Bedros
